Growing up in Naptown, or Indianapolis, Indiana for those who have no clue or what a Hoosier is for that matter, RayRay grew up in a strict religious family who forbade him to produce music outside of gospel music and definitely not rap music. After years of constant debates and disagreements, Ray decided to move away to pursue his dream even if it meant alienation from his family. While they still don’t love his career choice, RayRay’s family warmed up to his dream after realizing he produces pop, R&B, rap and hip-hop songs without it filled with vulgar curse words or misogynistic undertone his family despised.
Ray has produced several tracks with over 500k – 1M streams and placed songs in both TV & film. His song “Rise with Me” won a John Lennon Song Award and “Who I Am” won Tune Derby’s Best Rap Song.
