This Latin band refuses to be labeled as just one genre of Latin music, they expand and push boundaries expanding their Latin flavor across the world with traditional and non traditional music.

Bam and Juan met while living in San Jose California at a local music event where Bam was a DJ and Juan guitarist and part of a Mariachi band. Bam was an up and coming DJ but finding hard to get the gigs he really wanted. Juan, loved working PT with his band but wanted to develop more flavor in his love for Latin music. Bam, about to take a apprenticeship as an auto mechanic, was convinced to sacrifice one year to help produce songs with Juan and what resulted was a Latin fusion with high energy can’t stop moving tracks to Juan’s more emotional songs and ballads that move your heart.

Later Sebastián and Mateo, drummer and keys part of a group from Spain that disbanded during COVID, saw the duo perform at an open mic and a talk over drinks after their performance. What started off as debates on music from Spain vs Mexico resulted over the months them becoming part of the group.

Encendido’s passion for various Latin flavor music is evident in their sound and the world will have no choice but to accept that it’s time for Latin music to take its place on the world stage.
