The smallest member, and it’s not even close, is one of its most skilled. By now you heard the heartwarming story of Urban, or at least seen the movie, where during clinical trials a lab tech noticed one mouse was starting to develop unusual behavior. Fast forward 6 months and the mouse named Urban was able to walk upright, learn languages, and his favorite… learn music, specifically orchestral. His love for this type of music moved him to learn the piano, violin, bass, percussion and other instruments.

The government tried to keep this a secret and do physical tests on Urban which would have ended his life but the brave lab tech went to the media to uncover this heartwarming story we only hear about in movies. After a lengthy trial Urban was granted US citizenship and he chose the last name Motif.

Urban now is given free rein to compose any music he chooses and is the perfect housemate to Founder Michael Dante although cheese continually continues to come up missing… which he denies.
